Muhlbauer, Cassavant wed in June

Elissa Muhlbauer and Ed Cassavant were united in marriage on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at the St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church in Phoenix, Arizona. Celebrant was Father Harry Olivier, S.J.

Elissa is the daughter of Dan and Cheryl Muhlbauer of Royal. Ed is the son of Joseph and Sharon Cassavant of Chandler, Arizona.

Maid of Honor was sister, Chelsey Muhlbauer. Bridesmaids were sister, Jenah Muhlbauer, and friends, Katy Barrett, Sarah Hartmann/Mixdorf, Lisa Langenfeld, and Stacy Steele. Flower girl was niece, Mackenzie Miller. Best Man was Joseph Cassavant, Jr., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Kent Deason, David Callow, Matt Ringer, Jason Soper, and Kevin Woolfolk, friends of the couple. Ring bearers were Jake Cassavant, nephew of the groom and Carter Muhlbauer, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Heath Muhlbauer, brother of the bride and David Miller, uncle of the bride.

Jason and Amy Miller, aunt and uncle of the bride, served as hosts at the reception/dance held at Phoenix Country Club immediately following the wedding.

On June 27, a wedding celebration was held at the Milford Community Center in Milford.

After a honeymoon cruise to Puerto Rico and the Bahama islands the couple reside in Scottsdale. Elissa is an assistant principal at Pope John Paul XXIII Catholic school and Ed is an aerospace production manager at Cassavant Machining.
