It's just one short week until the bulls and cowboys will be in the Clay County Regional Events Center arena and the dirt is already coming in. S & G Bucking Productions brings the Maurer/DemCo Touring Pro PBR to Spencer, Iowa, on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20-21.

New to the PBR show in Spencer is the "Wild Cow Ride." Five four-person teams will compete each night to saddle up a cow and get across the finish line with a rider still on the cow's back. The entry fee is $5 per person or $20 per team, and all entry fees will be included in the prize money. The winning team will receive $100 cash, all entry fees, and PBR T-shirts. Participants must be 18 years of age. Those participating in the "Wild Cow Ride" are required to wear boots and jeans. Each team will need to provide its own saddle.

To register, teams must call the Clay County Regional Events Center at 580-3000 -- the first 10 teams that register and pay get in the competition. Teams must be at the Events Center by 6:30 p.m. the night of the show to complete registration paperwork and have a team meeting.

Sonny Smith, of S & G Productions, said, "This is a fun-filled entertainment event we have added to the Spencer show as a bonus for all ticket holders. It is a great opportunity for the local cowboys and cowgirls to get involved with the PBR show and get a taste of PBR glory."

Professional bull riding is a fierce, rough and grueling sport with roots deeply imbedded in American culture. It's America's original extreme sport. The PBR has evolved into a captivating and adrenaline charged sporting event that features an all-star cast of the greatest bull riders and bucking bulls in the world. PBR fans can visit PBR's Web site at www.pbrnow.com for more information.

The touring pros of PBR will begin bucking bulls at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Events Center Ticket Office, online at www.ticketmaster.com, charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000, or any Ticketmaster outlet.
