Women's Expo returns to Events Center

The third annual Northwest Iowa Women's Expo, will be held two days, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6 and 7 at the Clay County Regional Events Center in Spencer.

Friday's events will include an exhibitor show and social hour from 4-7 p.m., with a VIP event from 7-10 p.m., with a comedian, hors d'oeuvres, and "Bras for the Cause" auction.

Saturday will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and include an exhibitor show, workshops, samplings and seminars.

VIP tickets are available at www.exploreokoboji.com. VIP tickets include an all-access pass for the entire weekend. You'll be treated to food, prizes, comedian Collin Moulton, and the "Bras for the Cause" style show and auction to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Return on Saturday to attend seminars, shop, socialize and educate your way through over 100 vendors catering specifically to today's women.

Pat McGill returns to the 2009 Northwest Iowa Women's Expo with her Saturday workshop, "Connection Q University -- Wise Women." McGill brings her wit, wisdom and warmth to this year's event.

Why don't they have a men's expo? Maybe it's because women make 75% of the household buying decisions. Get back to work guys, mama needs more cash.

Maybe they should have a Men's expo. As far as the comment " guys getting back to work, Mama needs more cash". Well think that if you want, but a great majority of women, don't "need money from a guy" we make plenty on our own. But your comment was good for a chuckle.
