Sporting coconut bras and grass skirts, this group of polar plungers were among 225 persons on 23 different teams to take a dip for charity at Scharnberg Park Saturday. Fans lined the beach to watch the teams test the waters together. The consensus was - the water's still cold. A total of $25,000 was raised through project. The number of participants at Scharnberg Park's first ever Polar Plunge set a state record. All of the proceeds from the event go to the Special Olympics program.
