What do you think of the new 3D movies, and will you pay the little bit extra to go see them?

  • Depending on the movie, I might pay the extra to see it. However, I think charging $15 for the Jonas Brothers "concert" movie is excessive! I am afraid that they won't get as many people to come as they hoped for, especially with this economy.

  • Sure, depending on the movie. It would have to be a movie I wanted to see anyway, as the 3-D effect wouldn't cancel out a crappy movie. As far as the Jonas Brothers movie goes, I won't be seeing that one, but people have to understand that the $15 is the amount determined to offset the "special event" prices the theater is having to pay to show it in 3D. I used to work at a sports bar, and we only charged cover on nights when we were showing special events to cover our own costs.
