Dancing feet and waffles meet

Tuesday night marks the return of the Spencer High School Tiger Pas to the hardwood for the second straight year. Coach Tammy Higgins (below) has her group of approximately 30 dancers - comprised of past and present Spencer student fathers - ready to perform some of the favorite moves from recent decades during halftime of the boys and girls varsity basketball games with Estherville-Lincoln Central. (Right) Clark Cunningham stretches out prior to a special rehearsal on Wednesday. The Spencer School Foundation presents the Tiger Pas again this year. As an added treat Tuesday, Kiwanis After Five is holding its annual Dad's Belgian Waffle Fry from 5-7 p.m., in high school cafeteria. All you can eat for $7 -- $6 if purchased in advance at Farmers Trust and Northwest Banks. Children 5 and under eat free. Proceeds go to benefit children which is the Kiwanis mission.
