Chris Dean (Right) and Justin McCormick (above), a pair of Spencer residents who dedicated a great deal of time to President-elect Barack Obama's campaign efforts - Dean in Indiana and McCormick here in Spencer - are hitting the road together today on the way to Washington DC where they will take part in the historic inauguration festivities before and after the swearing in of Obama as the United State's next President. Both will be providing daily updates from the events they attend, offering a special perspective of the history making events.

What these young men are doing is commendable!

Whether we are Republicans , Independents, or Democtrats we need to unite as one to make this country great again.

Read the headlines , watch the news......

This nation, state and this town are in dire need of help. We can not do this with "hatred" we must do this with "compassion".

Look at all the men and women who work at Eatons or RR Donnellys. They need our help.

I am a 22 year retiree from the United States Air Force which has no bearing on how I feel. This country has been in a downward spiral for a long time. Its time to look to the future, not the past.

Have Tron read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Remember the young men and women who are serving in the Armed Forces so that we all may live in peace.

Tron , don't hate the player, hate the game!
