The Community Development Division of the Spencer Chamber of Commerce would like to extend an invitation to the public to attend four "Eggs & Issues" sessions in 2009. The event provides an opportunity for the audience to meet the area legislators and discuss the issues that impact Spencer, Clay County and northwest Iowa.
Sessions will begin at 9 a.m. and run until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, Saturday, Feb. 14, Saturday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 14 in the council chambers at Spencer City Hall.
State Senators Jack Kibbie and David Johnson, along with State Representatives Mike May, Marcie Frevert and Royd Chambers have all been invited to participate in the public forum.
Rep. Chambers will not be able to attend this year as he is currently serving in the Iowa Air Guard Unit serving near Afghanistan.
