Youth invited to 'Most Biggest Ginormous Superfly Event

Spencer Community Youth Ministries and the Spencer Family YMCA have partnered to offer what is being called, "Most Biggest Ginormous Superfly

Event - Better than 2007's of 2008 in 2009"

On Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 into Saturday, Jan. 3, all area youth, grades 6-12, are invited to attend this overnight event. The cost is $5 plus five canned goods for Upper Des Moines Opportunity, or $10.

Registration will take place from 9:30-10 p.m. The "all-nighter" will take place from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The night will feature video game tourneys, an open pool, basketball and dodgeball tournaments, karaoke, group games, board games, walleyball and racquetball tournaments, snacks and more!

At 12:30 a.m., Go Ministries, a dynamic group of young musicians and speakers from Minneapolis, will present an inspiring message to set the tone for beginning the New Year in a faith-filled positive way.

The evening will feature numerous door prizes which have been contributed by countless Spencer area businesses and a few large grand prize items.
