Funeral services for Mrs. Cecelia Franker, 90, of Spencer, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer. Rev. Paul Hansen will officiate the service.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.

Interment will take place at North Lawn Memorial Park in Spencer.

Cecelia passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at home in Spencer.

Cecelia Anna Franker, the daughter of Henry and Minnie (Westphal) Klinker, was born June 14, 1918, in O'Brien County. Her childhood years were spent moving around northwest Iowa. She received her education in Moneta schools.

Cecelia married Earl Franker on Sept. 16, 1935, in Spencer. Following their marriage, they farmed near Royal for 43 years until their retirement, when they moved into Royal, where she lived for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the United Methodist Church in Royal. She had recently moved to Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Franker in 1978; son, Jeffrey; son-in-law, Bruce Hebeisen; granddaughter, Dawn Franker; five brothers; and two sisters.

Cecelia is survived by her children: Richard Franker Brooks, Ga., Garen Hebeisen of Hackensack, Minn., Dennis Franker of Ayrshire; daughter-in-law, Lonelle Franker of Spencer; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Lillian Harjes of Spencer, and Betty Sanks of Idaho.

Warner Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
