Memorial services for Ms. Victoria Lutes Bell, 54 of Spencer will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008 at the Eagles Club in Spencer. Marlys Van-Engen will officiate the service.

There will be no visitation.

A lite lunch will be served after the service. Everyone is welcome. Please no flowers.

Interment will take place at a later date.

Victoria passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008 at her home in Spencer.

Victoria Lynn (Lutes) Bell, the daughter of Arthur Lee and Margaret Glenn Lutes, was born Dec. 12, 1953 in Decatur, Il. As a young child, her family traveled a lot, settling in Spirit Lake. After high school graduation, she traveled around the United States, singing at various venues.

Victoria married Jerry Bell on July 22, 1982 in Colorado Springs, Colo. Following their marriage, they continued traveling and singing. She was inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Aug. 30, 2008, inducted under "Women Who Rock."

Later in her adulthood, she was baptized in Jesus name on June 20, 1993 and later was baptized in the Holy Spirit at Faith Pentecostal Church in Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandmother.

Victoria is survived by her husband, Jerry Bell of Spencer; one daughter, Ali Henry and her husband, Eric of Spencer; two grandchildren; one brother, Steve Lutes of Emmetsburg; and a sister, Rebecca Campbell of Spencer.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
