CDR Promotions, of Princeton, Minn., recently received the 'Promoter of the Year Award' given at the annual Night of Champions for the 2008 Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. Craig and Julie Dollansky, owners of CDR Promotions, received the award for their work in promoting the World of Outlaws race at the Clay County Fair and other events at the Princeton Speedway.
"We have really enjoyed promoting the races," said Julie Dollansky, "Spencer is my hometown, so the Clay County Fair World of Outlaws race is a very special event for me."
Clay County Fair Secretary/Manager, Phil Hurst, said the 'Promoter of the Year Award' is an extremely positive thing for the Dollanskys, and the Clay County Fair's newly reconfigured 3/8 mile track.
"We've gone from the point where it was questionable if we could hold the World of Outlaws race on the racetrack, to the point where we are one of the premier race events of the year on the World of Outlaws schedule," said Hurst.

"The event has been great and it's been great for the fair as well. It's been exciting and something for the town and the people there to look forward to," said Julie Dollansky.
The Night of Champions award ceremony was part of a year-end event in Charlotte, N.C. It marks the conclusion of the 2008 Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.
