Funeral services for Mrs. Anabel Tielbur, 95 of Spencer will be held at 10:30 a.m., today, Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008 at Warner Chapel in Spencer. Rev. Paul Hansen will officiate the service.

Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.

Anabel passed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008 at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer.

Anabel Tielbur, the daughter of James Floyd Jones and Bessie Myrtle McDanel was born Dec. 29, 1912 in a farmhouse near Peterson. Her childhood years were spent in the Peterson, Rembrandt, Moneta and Dickens areas. She graduated from Spencer High School on May 29, 1930, then attended the University of Commerce Business School in Des Moines.

Anabel married Frank Tielbur on March 26, 1932 in South Sioux City, Neb. Following their marriage, they farmed in the Webb and Cornell area. After retiring from the farm, they moved to Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank in 1990; a son, Frank Jr. in 2004; one sister, Mildred (Jones) Alger; and her brothers: Reed Jones, Chub (Eldon) Jones, Hubert Jones and Frank Jones.

Anabel is survived by her two son: Charles Tielbur and wife, Donna of Milford, and Jerry Tielbur and wife, Jonette of Spencer; one daughter, Carole Madson and husband, Darrel of Ridgeville, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
