Courtesy a law enforcement grant through Yamaha, members of the Clay County Sheriff's Department will be driving this new Yamaha 2008 Rhino ATV for the next year. For every year the Yamaha grant program is in existence, the department will receive a new all-terrain vehicle.
Clay County Sheriff Randy Krukow indicated Clay County Investigator Casey Timmer was instrumental in writing the approved grant, and Cycle Country will work with the department to outfit the ATVs.
The ATV, which was purchased from Worthington Sports Center, will be used at the county gun range, for mowing and removing snow, as well as for search and rescue operations.
