"Things were very off kilter tonight for us," said Ruthven-Ayrshire head coach Kim Sierck. "We didn't pass well, and that is evident by looking at the low number of attacks we put together."
Ruthven-Ayrshire finished at less than 75 percent in both hitting and in serving. The Raiders had just four kills in the three games and were 27-for-37 in serving with five aces.
"Serving was way too low for us to be competitive. We just really struggled," Sierck said.
Sophomore Sadie Forey continued to be a bright spot for the Raiders, however, posting four blocks, four digs, three aces and four kills on 10-of-14 hitting.
Jessica Larson and Ale Blackburn each added a kill; Larson had five digs and Caitlyn Reed added four.
Ruthven-Ayrshire falls to 1-13 on the season.
