Funeral services for Jacqueline Langdeaux, 62, of LeMars, formerly of May City, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, at St. John's Lutheran Church in May City. Rev. Paul Johnson will officiate the service.
Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. today with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at the Warner Funeral Home in Hartley.
Interment will take place at Harrison Township Cemetery in May City.
Jacqueline passed away Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars.
Jacqueline Charlotte Langdeaux, the daughter of Arthur and Henrietta (Markman) Piscator, was born July 11, 1946, in Worthington, Minn. She grew up in Round Lake, Minn., with her parents and sister, Geraldine. She graduated from Round Lake Public School in 1964.
On June 18, 1966, Jackie married Melvin Langdeaux in Round Lake at the Bethel Lutheran Church. Jackie and Melvin lived most of their married life in May City. After Melvin passed away in 2003, she moved to LeMars, so she could be closer to her children. Jackie worked at nursing homes in Lake Park and Milford, until she had a stroke. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in May City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Jacqueline is survived by her children: James Langdeaux of Fort Dodge, Robert Langdeaux and wife, Valerie of LeMars, Amanda Nelson and husband, Grant of Alton; five grandchildren; two step-sons; several other step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Geraldine Eilders of Phoenix, Ariz.
Warner Funeral Home of Hartley is in charge of arrangements.
