Funeral services for Lillian Pullen, 94, of Spencer, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.

There will be no visitation.

Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.

Lillian passed away Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at Spencer Hospital.

Lillian Florence Pullen, the daughter of Millard and Mabel (McKerrick) Harvey was born Jan. 22, 1914, in Billingham, Wash. Her childhood years were spent in Billingham where she attended school and graduated from Billingham High School.

Following high school, Lillian worked in Civil Services in the state of Washington until 1945.

On Sept. 5, 1945, Lillian was united in marriage to Gilbert Pullen in Washington. Lillian was a dedicated homemaker who stayed at home to raise her three children: Mark, Mead and Mary Jane.

Lillian was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer. She was also a member of the Legion Auxiliary, Church Women Club, Farm Bureau, and Retarded Children Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert; her parents; and one son, Mead.

Lillian is survived by her son, Mark Pullen of Spencer; daughter Mary Jane Kuykendall of Hot Springs, Ark.; one sister-in-law, Florence Rush of Spencer; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Warner Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
