Local Democrats have been notified that Brad Carson, a former congressman from Oklahoma, has canceled his tour through western Iowa this weekend due to an illness.
He was originally scheduled to be at the Clay County Fairgrounds beginning at 1:30 p.m. Saturday on behalf of presidential candidate Barack Obama.
In his place will be Steve Scates the former executive director of Illinois Farm Service. Scates is expected to begin his visit at the Clay County Democrats booth at around noon today.

Obama should be at the fair in person. He don't care enough to do that!!! Vote for McCain!
