David Engelkes

Three northwest Iowans were arrested on drug-related charges following a traffic stop by Spencer Police Department at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28.

Police on Wednesday said they charged 24-year-old David Engelkes, of Hartley, with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver marijuana in the 10 block of North Grand Avenue.

Danny Jurries, 22, of Linn Grove, was charged at the location with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Terrell Alfaro, 18, Spencer, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. They were all transported to Clay County Jail.
