Funeral services for Mr. Brian Beck, 30, of Spencer, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, at First Christian Church in Spencer. Rev. Dan Mayes will officiate the service.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday with the family present from 4-6 p.m. at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
Brian passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. from injuries received in a motorcycle accident near Spencer
Brian Charles Beck, the son of Charles and Nancy (Blom) Beck, was born July 14, 1978, in Fairmont, Minn. His childhood years were spent in Milford and Spencer, where he received his education and graduated in 1997. After his schooling, he worked at Godfather's, Perry Judd's and Standard Printers. While taking Welding Classes at Iowa Great Lakes, he worked at Maurer Manufacturing. A son, Maxwell Charles was born in 1997.
Brian married Amy Wallrich on Feb. 7, 2008, at the St. Lucia's Island. He was currently employed with Midwestern Mechanical in Spencer.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents on both sides; his maternal grandparents; a brother, Todd; and his grandfather, Rich Huntress passed away Aug. 7, 2008.
Brian is survived by his wife, Amy of Spencer; one son, Maxwell of Spencer; his parents: Charles "Spark" and Nancy of Fostoria; a sister, Carrie and Shawn Jurek of Woodbury, Minn.; his grandmother, Billie Huntress of Fostoria; and his grandfather, Charles and Stella Beck of Estherville.
A memorial fund has been established in Brian's name at Farmer's Bank in Spencer.
Warner Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
