Classroom Collection - an annual project spearheaded by Southpark Mall and the KICD radio stations - once again will service the needs of Spencer area youth, collecting school supplies for over 490 students. Total cash contributions to the project totaled $4,300 and the items were unloaded at the Spencer Middle School Tuesday afternoon. The money was used to purchase backpacks and school items. Among the donors contributing over $250: KICD radio stations, Northwest Bank, Farmers Savings Bank, NWIADTU, Kiwanis Daybreakers, Grace United Methodist Church, Kiwanis After Five, Eaton and Hy-Vee.
