Thrivent supports Ecumenical VBS

Clay County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans donated $500 in supplemental funds to the Ecumenical Vacation Bible School held this summer in Royal. Thrivent board members Linda Yungbluth and Dennis Galloway presented the check to Betsy Brugman one of the coordinators of this year's Bible School. Churches in Royal and Everly involved in the Bible School were St. Louis Catholic, Bethlehem Lutheran, United Methodist Church and Hope Lutheran . Eighty-five children attended Bible school this year.
