Terry and Paula Meyer of Alta are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter April Meyer to Luke Warkentin, son of Roger and Karen Warkentin of Linn Grove.

April is a graduate of Alta High School and AIB College of Business. She is currently employed by Alta Municipal Utilities. Luke is a graduate of Sioux Central High School and currently employed by Buena Vista County.

The couple are planning an Aug. 30 wedding at the United Methodist Church of Storm Lake.
