The parents of Stacy Lester and Richard Dagit are pleased to announce the couple's engagement.

Stacy is the daughter of Darrell and Dixie Lester, of Rembrandt. She attended Sioux Central High School and earned a BS in Child Family Services from Iowa State University. She is currently employed as an accounting clerk at Rembrandt Enterprises, Inc.

Richard is the son of Raymond and Charlotte Dagit of Paton. Richard attended Paton-Churdan High School. He is currently employed at Harvest International.

The couple are planning an Aug. 9 wedding at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Rembrandt.
