Ashlea Paul and Jon Sonius

Ashlea Paul and Jon Sonius announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are John and Sharon Paul of Swea City, and James and Cindy Sonius of Spencer.

Ashlea is a 2004 graduate of North Kossuth High School and a 2007 graduate of South Dakota State University wehre she majored in Health Promotion. She is currently in SDSU's Accelerated Nursing Option in Sioux Falls, S.D., and will graduate on Aug. 22 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Jon is a 2003 graduate of Armstrong-Ringsted High School and a 2005 graduate of Iowa Lakes Community College with an Associate's degree in Applied Science of Agriculture. He is currently employed by Olson Farms in Dickens.

An Aug. 30 wedding is planned at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Swea City. A reception/ dance will follow at the Armstrong Community Center.
