Two occupants escaped a single-car rollover with cuts and bruises following a single-car crash near the intersection of 330th Street and 165th Avenue at about 8:45 p.m. Friday.
Deputies suspect alcohol was a factor and charged the driver, 38-year-old John Sindt of Everly with first-offense operating while intoxicated and for failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
Investigators think Sindt entered the intersection at a high rate of speed and lost control of his 2002 Dodge. The car rolled once and landed on its top in the north ditch. Sindt and his passenger, Suzie Sindt were transported to Spencer Hospital for further evaluation. He was later arrested and placed in jail on the crash-related charges.
Deputies were assisted by Spencer Emergency Response and Everly Fire & Rescue.
