* Jose Alfredo Venegas-Gonzalez, 22, Storm Lake, was charged with driving under suspension and no proof of insurance at 4:25 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of 11th Street Southwest in Spencer. He was held in jail to appear before a magistrate.

* Jesus Tinajero, 43, St. James, Minn., was taken in on an Emmet County warrant for a parking violation at 2:40 p.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of Highway 71. He was taken to the Clay County Jail and posted on $100 cash bond. He also was cited for speeding. Deputies were assisted by the Iowa State Patrol.

* Beau Wanner, 20, Milford, was charged with driving while barred, failure to file S.R. insurance and a .02 administrative action at 3:22 a.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Highway 71. He was held in jail to appear before a magistrate.

ACCIDENTS

* Allan Lynn Dandy of Greenville was cited for failing to stop and remain stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of 440th Street and 200th Avenue in the southwest corner of Rossie. His entrance into the intersection caused James Ryan Heilman of Orange City to swerve and enter the ditch. Heilman's 2002 Ford F350 truck, owned by American Industrial Refrigeration, was not damaged. Dandy's truck also was not damaged. Heilman told deputies he would seek medical attention on his own. The incident took place at 6:12 p.m. Thursday.
