Mia Elizabeth Schwartz turned one on June 21. She is the daughter of Doctors Courtney and Doug Schwartz of Spencer. Mia's sister is Sydney Schwartz.

Grandparents are Gary and Kathie Halverson, also of Spencer; and great-grandparents, Junior and Barbara Halverson of Sioux City.
