Bob Cosens, a longtime and well-known resident of Dickinson County, has been named the new manager of Thee Garage Sale.
Bob replaces Jenean Hall of Milford.
"Jenean was instrumental in developing the store from infancy and has been an important part of the team at Shepherd's Fold/Cherish Center for many years," said Jan Turner, executive director of Cherish Center. "She is loved by many and will be greatly missed."
Bob and his wife Jean reside in Spirit Lake, having raised four children, one adopted son, and more than 25 foster children.
He was involved with Shepherd's Fold/Cherish Center from the very early years, serving on the Advisory Board and also on the Building Team for Cherish House. Bob has served on the city council and been involved in the food pantry ministry of his church for many years.
Thee Garage Sale, which is located next to The Three Sons in Milford, is taking on a new, fresh look as it prepares to make a move to the new Cherish Center at the north end of Milford in the future. Area residents are encouraged to stop by and shop for unique items and/or sign up as a volunteer for a few hours every week. For more information about Thee Garage Sale, call (712) 338-3334.
