Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 p.m., Sunday.
There will be a vigil service at 6 p.m. Sunday at Warner Funeral Home.
Interment will take place at 2 p.m. Monday at West Bend Cemetery in West Bend following lunch at the church.
Military services will be conducted by the West Bend American Legion following the graveside services.
Delbert passed away Friday, June 20, 2008, at Spencer Hospital.
Dr. Delbert Louis Anliker, the son of Ernest and Rickie (Schaeffer) Anliker, was born July 18, 1923, in West Bend. His childhood years were spent in West Bend, where he received his education, graduating from West Bend High School.
Delbert married Irene Bleuer on May 9, 1943, in Denver, Colo. He entered the military and served with the U.S. Army during WWII from 1943, until his honorable discharge in 1946. Following his discharge he continued his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. They moved to Spencer, where he practiced at Anliker Chiropractic Clinic for 50 years. He was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and sang in the church choir. Delbert was also a member of the American Legion and the American Chiropractic Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Gene, Dale and Lynn Dean, in infancy; and a sister, Beverly Ross.
Delbert is survived by his wife, Irene of Spencer; his children: Marcia Rolenc and husband, Edward of Iowa City, Stephen Anliker and wife, Mary of Cambridge, Gregory Anliker and wife, Laurie of Des Moines, Dr. Brian Anliker and wife, Lori of Milford, and Kimberly Berg of Davenport; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two sisters: Frances Westphal of Burlington, and Elma Lou Hohulin of Duncanville, Texas.
Memorials may be sent to the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport.
