Saturday Night Live at Light of the Lakes

The New Light of the Lakes at the Stop Light in Arnolds Park, on the corner of Broadway and Highway 71, is featuring at "Saturday Night Live" the Steve Olson Band. It all starts Saturday, June 14. The doors open at 6 p.m., with food and meet the band. The band starts on stage at 7 p.m. Bring a friend and enjoy great music. It is a free and fun music night for everyone.

Vacation Bible School

Grace United Methodist Church will be holding its Vacation Bible School -- "Beach Party- Surfin' Through the Scriptures" from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Sunday, June 15 through Thursday, June 19. The program is for children four years old through fifth grade. Cost is $10 per child and $20 per family. Receive a T-shirt with registration.


Camp Okoboji Quilt Auction

The 15th annual Camp Okoboji LCMS Quilt Auction will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, June 14 at Camp Okoboji in Milford. Viewing begins from 5-7 p.m., Friday, June 13 and will continue on Saturday at 10 a.m. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Crafts and baked goods will be available for purchase. Supplemental funds will be provided through the: Care in Regions Program of the Greater Iowa Region, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.


Living Word providing rides to services

Living Word Outreach Ministries is providing rides to its 9:30 a.m. Sunday worship service and Kids Super Church; the 7 p.m. Wednesday midweek service for adults, youth group and kid's club.
