RISE Ministries, Inc. will host the fourth Annual RiseFest on June 21 in Orange City, at the Northwestern College Soccer Complex.
This year's Christian music festival is bringing you Mercy Me for only $15 a ticket (children 10 and under are free). Admission to the day-long event also includes the popular bands Go Fish, Addison Road, and DecembeRadio.
Start the morning with the 5K & 10K Run/Walk and Stroll race, and hear inspirational speakers at the seminars. Afternoon festivities begin at the Kid's Zone with Pockets Full of Fun, and at the Extreme Area with Bull Riding.
Rob Roozeboom, the founder and president of RISE Ministries, will also be sharing his message that evening. Rob was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy when he was 5 years old and tells of his road to faith in the hope that his message will help others to "rise above" in their own life journey. Through RISE Ministries Roozeboom travels around the country speaking to audiences, hosts Rise Above Radio heard on more than 300 stations around the world, and has recently begun a "Rise on the Road" campaign in order to bring his message to more youth.
Get your tickets at area Christian bookstores, by calling (712) 324-9763, or online at www.riseministries.com.
