* Roberto Baez-Gonzalez, 31, Spencer, was taken into custody for no driver's license and no insurance at 5:31 a.m. Wednesday in the 4500 block of Highway 71. He was held in jail to appear before a magistrate.
* Aaron Griggs, 22, Marathon was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) at 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 4600 block of Highway 71. He was released on bond.
* Alexis Garcia, 25, Spencer was charged with driving under suspension and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) at 7:22 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of South Grand Avenue in Spencer. Garcia was held to appear before a magistrate.
* Ryan Kuhlers, 26, Merservey, was charged with driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:34 a.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of B63. He was released on bond.
ACCIDENTS
* Dianne Klassen, 62, Marcus, was traveling west in the 1900 block of Highway 10 when she lost control and the 1995 Isuzu she was driving entered the north ditch. The vehicle rolled several times before it came to a rest. Klassen and a passenger, Hazel Rupp, were transported to Spencer Hospital for evaluation. Deputies were assisted by the Peterson Fire & Rescue and Spencer Emergency Response. The Isuzu was a total loss.
* Latasha Grace Smith, 18, Spencer, failed to yield from a stop sign at 4:55 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 240th Avenue and Highway 18. She struck a 1998 Dodge Neon driven by Nancy Jo Essick-Salton, 40, Dickens. Smith's 1997 Chevy sustained minor damage. The Neon also sustained minor damage. Smith was cited for failure to have insurance and failure to yield upon entering a highway.
* Darrell Nordman and Kayla Christopherson were traveling west at 4:15 p.m. Friday on 350th Street. Both vehicles had stopped in traffic for a school bus. Nordman pulled ahead, in front of 1914 350th Street. Christopherson's 2001 Chevy ran into the back of Nordman's Dodge truck, which sustained $100 damage. The Chevy sustained $4,000 damage.
