* Leighton M. Jones, 26, Spencer, was charged with driving under suspension and no insurance at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, near 11th Street and South Grand Avenue in Spencer. He was held in jail to appear before a magistrate.

* Bryon Anderson, 29, Algona was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container of alcohol, driving while barred and no seat belt following a stop at 1 p.m. Thursday in the 3300 block of Highway 18. Anderson posted a $2,000 bond and was released with a court date.

* Felipe Briones-Diaz of Spencer was taken into custody for failing to appear on the original charge of driving while barred at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, in the 700 block of East Fifth Street in Spencer. He was held on $2,500 cash only bond.

* Howard Finlay III, 40, Emmetsburg was charged with driving under suspension at 2:55 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, in the 4800 block of Highway 71. He was held in jail to appear before a magistrate.
