Rachael Florke and David Lyons

Rick and Ruth Florke, Spencer, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachael, to David Lyons, son of David and Maria Lyons, Phoenix, Ariz., and Debbie and Dale Hamner, St. Joseph, Mo.

Rachael, a 2005 Spencer High School graduate, is currently attending the Fire School of Ministry, Concord, N.C.

David, a 2001 graduate of the Fire School of Ministry in Concord, served as a missionary to Holland from 2002-2006. He is currently a missionary in the United States, based in Concord, for the Fire School.

They are planning an Aug. 1, 2008, wedding at Magnolia Glen, Locust, N.C.

There will be a reception for Rachael and David in Spencer on Aug.16 at Dayspring Assembly of God.
