"Once again our singles play got the job done early, wrapping the match up at 5-1 before heading into doubles," head coach Brett Groan noted of the Tigers' performance. "Again I can't say enough about how big it is as a team to get the victory sealed up early."
The Tigers would cash in a solid performance in doubles play as well, with Druvenga and Kabrick posting a win at No. 1 doubles, 11-9, and Wassom and Barnett storming to victory in the No. 2 spot by a score of 10-0.
"Before heading into team regionals this was exactly what we needed as a team," Groen commented.
The Tigers ended the Lakes season with a 7-2 overall record, including a 6-2 conference mark.
