Meeting 5-13-08

Iowa Lakes Community College Board of Trustees will meet at 4 p.m. today at the Spirit Lakes campus. A full agenda is planned.


The Spencer Park Board will meet at 5 p.m., tonight in the conference room at City Hall. The board will consider the submission of a Country School Grant application by the Kiwanis Club, consider a temporary batting cage at Pederson Park, and other issues.


The Spencer City Council will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. tonight in the council chambers at City Hall to submit a State Historical Grant Application for improvements to the country school. Immediately following the meeting, a work session will be held to discuss possible community survey questions.


The Royal City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m., tonight in the council chambers with a full agenda planned.


The Spencer Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 14 in the council chambers at City Hall. The commission will receive an update on the 2001 Comprehensive Land Use Plan's goals and objectives.


The Spencer Municipal Utilities Board of Directors will meet at 7 a.m., Wednesday, May 14 in the operations meeting room. Among other items, they will consider a funding request from Jobs Trust.


Regional Transit Authority dba RIDES Board of Directors will hold a business meeting at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, May 15 in the RTA office at 522 10th Ave. E. in Spencer.


The Northwest Iowa Planning and Development Commission will meet at 1:05 p.m., Thursday, May 15 at the Governmental Services Building Conference Room in Spencer. A full agenda is planned.
