Seniors Municipal Golf Sign-Up

A 50th wedding anniversary celebration open house is planned for Robert and Wanda Donahoo, beginning at 5 p.m., Saturday, May 24 at the family's farm, 175 460th St., Peterson.

Van Vickle elected to board

The Clay County Council on Aging Board of Directors election was held Monday, May 5, 2008, at the Spencer Area Activity Center. Dennis Van Vickle was elected to fill a three-year term. The Clay County Council on Aging is the governing body and policy setting board for the Spencer Area Activity Center. The board meets the third Friday of each month at 9 a.m. Any interested person is invited to attend.

Greenville/Rossie Reunion

A Greenville/Rossie Reunion is planned for 12:30 p.m., June 1 at Royal Community Center. A potluck dinner will be served. Bring your own table service. Drinks will be furnished. Graduates from 1948 and 1958 will be recognized.

Sunday Ballroom Dancing

There will be no Sunday Ballroom Dancing at the Spencer Area Activity Center on May 4. Dances will resume Sunday, June 1 from 2-5 p.m. with music by Delmer Dahnke. The public is invited.
