Spencer Hospital Auxiliary President Marla Woelber (far right) and Auxiliary Treasurer Linda Susie (second from right) presents a check for $30,000 to Spencer Hospital CEO Doug Doorn and Susan Zulk, Spencer Regional Healthcare Foundation director, designated to help fund the current expansion project under way at Abben Cancer Center. The Auxiliary operates the Spencer Hospital Gift Shop and also sponsors several fund raiser events throughout each year to generate funds to assist with special hospital projects. The presentation occurred during the volunteer organization's annual Spring Appreciation Brunch held in the hospital's conference center. The hospital auxiliary has 120 members and auxiliary volunteers perform numerous volunteer roles throughout the hospital to aid patients, families and staff.
