The Clay Central/Everly Community School District board of directors will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30 in the superintendent's office in Royal. Agenda items include a telephone interview with a principal candidate, a contract and field trip.

The Spencer Community School District board of directors will meet in a special meeting at 7:30 a.m. Friday, May 2 in the board room of the central administrative offices. Agenda items include approval of bids for phase two of the district's ESG project, a student information system, 2008-09 support staff contract ratification, 2008-09 teacher contract, wages for non-union employees and 2008-09 staffing considerations.

The Spencer Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet at 8 a.m. Monday, May 5 in the council chambers of City Hall. Agenda items include a request from Rick and Barb Irgens to build a wood fence at 1604 First Ave. E., Spencer.
