Four area teenagers face theft-related charges after a break-in last weekend at the Hap Ketelsen Community Center in Everly.
Deputies think the teenagers broke into the community center took cases of beer, a keg, wine and hard liquor from the building's inventory.
"The doors were pried open -- both outside and inside," Chief Deputy Duane Bates said earlier this week. "There's a locked door on the inside, too. That secures the bar area inside the center. That was pried open also."
The break-in occurred either late Saturday or early Sunday, according to a statement from the sheriff's office. Police received the burglary complaint at about 3 p.m. Sunday.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office began its investigation and, on Tuesday night, charged 15-year-olds Michael James Murphy and Dustin Lee Meyer with third-degree theft, a Class D felony. Murphy also was charged with fourth-degree theft, a serious misdemeanor.
Also facing a third-degree burglary felony charge is 15-year-old Todd Andrew Watkins of Linn Grove. Later in the evening, a 17-year-old male from Greenville was charged with fifth-degree theft, which is a simple misdemeanor.
All of the juveniles were cited into juvenile court and were released into the custody of their parents.
