* Omar Acosta-Ruiz, 22, Spencer was charged with first-offense operating while intoxicated at 8:24 p.m. Sunday, April 13, in an alley near the 300 block of West Fourth Street. He was also charged with no drivers license and no insurance and held to appear before a magistrate.

ACCIDENTS

* James Brian Cook was driving a 2002 International school bus at 3:28 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, when he attempted to make a turn near the 900 block of East Park Street. In the process, the bus scraped the corner of a parked 1999 Dodge truck. The truck sustained $1,500 damage. The bus sustained $1,000 damage.

* Terry Dean Dandy, 63, Spencer, was attempting to turn left past oncoming traffic when he didn't get past 1998 Ford truck in time to avoid a collision at 8:11 a.m. Monday, April 14, near Grand Plaza Drive and 11th Street Southeast. The truck sustained $1,000 damage. Dandy's 1997 Mercury sustained $1,200 damage.
