Merle Duane Stulen, 73, passed away in his Parker, Ariz. home on April 13, 2008.

Merle Stulen was born in Dickens and has several relatives and friends in the area. Merle and Sharon were married in 1955 at "Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church" in San y Sidro, Calif. Merle was affectionately called "Fafa" by his family and closest friends; he served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Stulen.

Merle is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon; his sister, Lorraine; four daughters: Merlene, Lori and her husband, Rob, Jeanette and her husband, Tom, and Tracy and her husband, Tommy; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
