Amy Johnson and Kyle Torkelson were married July 28, 2007, at Central Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randy Tweeten officiating.

Maid of honor was Amanda Conrad, and best man was Jon Johansen.

Attendants were Jeff Johnson, Mike Boen, Dusty Hoffman, Bret Vanden Bosch, Beth Torkelson, Megan Torkelson, Allison Hoffman and Katie Hofer.

Flower girl was Elise Fippinger; ring bearer was Zachary Hefty.

The couple lives in Sioux Falls. The bride is a graduate of Augustana College and is a sixth grade teacher at Whittier Middle School and YMCA camp director. The groom is a graduate of the University of Sioux Falls and is a senior network administrator at USF.

Parents of the couple are Sandy Johnson and Lee and Tracy Johnson of Sioux Falls, and Dewayne and Jan Torkelson of Terril.
