Funeral services for Mr. Byron Bryant, 67, of Cookeville, Tenn., will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2008, at Cookeville Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Kevin Thomas officiating.
Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
Byron passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Raintree Manor in McMinnville, Tenn.
Byron was born Oct. 22, 1940, in Zearing to the late Jessie Edwin and Iva Belle (Schultze) Bryant. He was a long time member of the Cookeville Church of the Nazarene. Byron was a dairy farmer and consultant with a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University in Dairy Science in 1967.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Raymond C. Bryant.
Byron is survived by his wife, Dianne Hurst Bryant of Cookeville; two sons: Kevin Bryant of Nashville, Tenn., and Dr. Jerald Bryant and wife, Tonya of Cookeville; two daughters: Julie Gunter and husband, Gary of Cookeville, and Pamela Rumbley and husband, Brent of Mt. Juliet; one brother, John Bryant and wife, Joan of Olympia, Wash.; sister, Dorothy Bryant of McMinnville; and eight grandchildren.
