Mildred A. Salisbury, 94, of Davenport, formerly of Macomb, Ill., and Spencer, passed away Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Crest Health Center in Davenport.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2008, at the Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home of Macomb, Ill. Rev. Russell Smith will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday at the Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington.

She was born on Nov. 6, 1913, in Ottumwa, to Frank and Frances Reusch. She married Arnold W. Salisbury on Aug. 17, 1935, in Ottumwa. He passed away on November 21, 1997.

Mildred had lived in Macomb since 1968. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Macomb. She was a 60 year member of Chapter K - P.E.O., and a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star in Fairfield. She was an alumna of Iowa Wesleyan College and a 50 year member of Phi Mu sorority.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; parents; one brother; John W. (Bud) Reusch; one sister; Florence Culver; and one niece; Mary Garvey.

Mildred is survived by one daughter; Sue Clark and husband, Gary of Bettendorf; six grandchidlren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
