Abigail and Benjamin Bunge

Abigail Treimer and Benjamin Bunge were united in Marriage on Sept. 22, 2007, on a beautiful fall day at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Milford. Father Kenneth Seifried, of Milford, officiated the ceremony.

Jim and Pam Hagenbucher and Dave and Liz Carlson, relatives of the couple, greeted the guests at the church.

Parents of the bride are David and Cathy Treimer of Hartley. Parents of the groom are Jim and Jeannine Bunge, also of Hartley. Grandparents of the bride are Donald and Luetta Treimer of Hartley. Grandparents of the groom are Donald and Lois Carlson of Spencer, and Dorothy Bunge of Estherville. Abigail is the great-granddaughter of Lorna Hagenbucher of Paullina.

The Maid of Honor was Sarah Treimer, sister of the bride. The Bridesmaids included: Sally Bunge, sister of the groom; Brandy Rowe, friend of the couple; April Taylor, friend of the couple; Heather Schilmoeller, cousin of the bride, and Ali Batenhorst, friend of the couple. The Junior Bridesmaid was Katelyn Hagenbucher, cousin of the bride. Personal attendants included Michelle Bunge, sister-in-law to the groom and Kate Phelps, friend of the couple.

The Best Man was Adam Bunge, brother of the groom. The Groomsmen included: Lee Bunge, brother of the groom; Cliff Pinsent, Jason Zimmerman, Matt Hornibrook, and Brad Calsyn, all friends of the couple. The Ring Bearer was Samuel Rushenberg, a friend of the couple. The Ushers were Eric and Charles Lindquist, cousins of the bride; Paul Butler, cousin of the groom; Luke Erlandson, Matt Durham and Jason Boche, all friends of the couple.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Arrowwood Resort in Okoboji. Hors d'oeuvres and dinner were prepared by Minerva's of Okoboji. Ann Treimer, Jim Sterling, and Craig and Barb Butler served as hostesses for the couple at the reception. The Dancin' Beat provided music for the dance at the reception.

Following the Marriage Celebration, the couple traveled to St. Lucia for their honeymoon, and returned to West Des Moines. Abigail is a retirement Consultant for Qualified Plan Consultants in Des Moines. Ben is a Project Engineer for the Weitz Company-Iowa Division in Des Moines.
