A memorial service for Brian Trierweiler, 43, of Jackson, Mo., formerly of Greenville will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Spencer.
Brian was laid to rest on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Brian passed away suddenly Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at his home in Jackson, Mo.
Brian was born to parents Peter William and Lucy Maureen Spence Trierweiler on Jan. 12, 1964, in Spencer. His childhood years were spent in Greenville and he went to school at Clay Central in Royal. He was a very good athlete and played baseball, basketball, and football in high school. Brian graduated in 1982 and during his senior year he attended college classes at Iowa Lakes Community College. After graduation he went to Iowa Central College. In 1987 Brian joined the Navy and was on the USS Constellation and worked in aviation ordinance until 1990. He and Chris Morrison were married on May 7, 1997 and made their home in Jackson. Brian was a carpenter with the Local Union 1770 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He was also a member of the Altenthal-Joerns American Legion Post in Jackson.
He is preceded in death by father, Peter (Tony) Trierweiler; his grandparents, Peter and Wilma Trierweiler, and Bill and Rosaleen Spence.
Brian is survived by his wife Chris, two sons: Tyler and Dustin, and daughter, Casey -- all of Jackson; mother, Lucy Trierweiler and Robert Handy of Lost Island; two brothers: Clint and wife, Cammy of Greenville, and Tony Trierweiler of Greenville.
