Funeral services for Tami Pullen, 50, of Spencer, will be held Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at Hope Reformed Church in Spencer. The Revs. Russell Muilenburg and Gary Wunderlich will officiate the 10:30 a.m. service.

Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer at a later date.

Visitation will begin after 11:30 a.m. today with the family present from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Tami passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, at Spencer Hospital in Spencer.

Tamara Jo Pullen, the daughter of Merrill and Shirley (Boyle) Schoer, was born on Oct. 16, 1957, in Des Moines. At the age of nine her family moved to Spencer where she attended and graduated from Spencer High School.

On Feb. 19, 1977, Tami married William "Bill" Pullen in Spencer. Following their marriage, she cooked at the White Marlin, the Hotel and St. Luke Lutheran Home. In 1999 she attended Iowa Lakes Community College where she studied to be a dietician, graduating in 2001.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Tami is survived by her husband, Bill of Spencer; her two daughters: Jeni and Jolynn Pullen of Spencer; two grandchildren; her father, Merrill Schoer of Spencer; and three sisters: Sid Root and husband, Dave of Webster City, Jayne Smith and husband, John of Kansas City, Mo,. and Valerie Utley and husband, Dan of Kansas City, Mo.

Arrangements are being handled by Warner Funeral Home of Spencer.
