James Steve Beving

Services for James Steven Beving, of Phoenix, Ariz, were conducted at the Messenger funeral Home in Scottsdale, Ariz. on Dec. 2, 2007.

He was born in Spencer on March 22, 1959, and passed away in Phoenix on Nov. 29, 2007.

Jim grew up on a farm in northern Clay County and graduated from Everly High School in 1977. He attended the University of Iowa for three years then entered the United States Air Force where he served with the Strategic Air Command in Omaha, Neb. and Ramstein, Germany for four and a half years. Jim also served in the Arizona National Guard.

After his military service he earned a Bachelor of Arts and Masters Degree from the University of Arizona and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. He enjoyed a rewarding career as a registered nurse.

On March 18, 2005, he married the love of his life, Marilyn Milling on a beautiful wildflower covered hilltop in Phoenix Dreamy Draw Park.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; his parents, Merle and Phyllis Beving of Everly; and his sister, Laura Sue Beving of Guilford, Conn.
